Lomer hiking boots
The brand Lomer was founded in 1975 in Montebelluna, Italy. A small town at the foot of the hills of the Alps by the brothers Giancarlo and Sergio Merlo. Lomer - derived from Merlo - quickly built up an excellent reputation for craftsmanship and quality.
In addition to designing genuine trekking and hiking boots, Lomer also makes versatile sneakers for the Urban & Outdoor collection: perfect for the active who are looking for a hybrid style for the smooth transition from busy city center to challenging mountain trail.
Technologies such as the in-house developed MerTex lining, which ensures waterproofness and breathability, are what make these hiking boots so special. The naturally water-repellent leathers and other high-quality materials are combined with the high-performance rubber outsoles from Vibram. They form the perfect balance between weight, stability and grip. All leather used comes only from tanneries in Italy. These are known worldwide for a refined finish, luxurious appearance and quality. However, Lomer also makes extensive use of vegan materials, such as hiking boots with a combination of high-resistance threads as an upper material.
