The brand Lomer was founded in 1975 in Montebelluna, Italy. A small town at the foot of the hills of the Alps by the brothers Giancarlo and Sergio Merlo. Lomer - derived from Merlo - quickly built up an excellent reputation for craftsmanship and quality.

The naturally water-repellent leathers and other high-quality materials are combined with the high-performance rubber outsoles from Vibram. They form the perfect balance between weight, stability and grip. All leather used comes only from tanneries in Italy. However, Lomer also makes extensive use of vegan materials, such as hiking boots with a combination of high-resistance threads as an upper material.
